Aloola provides online Spanish language learning services for people aged 18 and over. In order to provide and administer its services, Aloola may collect and process personal information from students, people interested in its services, and people who participate in its referral program.

Depending on how you interact with Aloola, we may collect:

Age or confirmation that you are 18 years of age or older.

Country and city.

Availability for classes.

Aloola only requests information that it considers reasonably necessary to provide and administer its services. As part of the standard enrollment process, we do not request residential addresses, identification documents, or photographs.

5. Communications
Aloola may use email and WhatsApp for communications necessary to provide and administer the service, including information about classes, schedules, confirmations, payments, renewals, rescheduling, and other administrative matters. These communications are different from promotional communications. Where applicable, commercial or promotional communications will be sent with the required authorization, and individuals may request that such communications stop.
6. Class Recordings
Aloola's classes are recorded. Recordings may be used for:
Pedagogical follow-up.
Evaluation of the learning process.
Review and history of sessions.
Service backup.
Improvement of Aloola's methodology.
Recordings are stored in private spaces, and access is limited to persons authorized by Aloola who need access for the purposes described in this Policy.
Recordings will not be published or publicly used for advertising, commercial, or promotional purposes, including on social media or the Aloola website, without the corresponding specific authorization. Recordings will be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy and applicable obligations. When they are no longer necessary and there is no obligation to retain them, they may be deleted or anonymized.
7. Platforms and Service Providers
To provide and administer its services, Aloola uses technological platforms and external service providers.
These currently include tools for:
Online classes and meetings.
Payment processing.
Communication through WhatsApp and email.
Enrollment forms and information collection.
Information storage and management.
Website hosting and operation.
The tools currently used include Zoom, PayPal, WhatsApp Business, Google Forms, Google Drive, and Hostinger.
Aloola provides these platforms only with the information necessary for their corresponding functions. Each provider may apply its own privacy policies and terms of service. Some of these providers may store or process information outside Colombia. Where applicable, Aloola will take reasonable measures to ensure that information is processed in accordance with applicable law.
8. Security and Retention of Information
Aloola adopts reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Information will be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services, fulfill the stated purposes, maintain the corresponding administrative records, and comply with applicable legal obligations. When information is no longer necessary and there is no obligation to retain it, Aloola may delete it, anonymize it, or securely dispose of it.

When a person participates in the referral program, Aloola may collect the information necessary to verify the referral and administer the corresponding benefit. This may include the name and WhatsApp number of the person who made the referral, as well as information related to the new student's first purchase and fulfillment of the program requirements. This information will be used only to verify, administer, and communicate information related to the referral and its benefit.
12. Updates to This Policy
Aloola may update this Policy when necessary due to changes in its services, data processing practices, tools used, or legal requirements. When changes are made, the date indicated at the beginning of the Policy will be updated. If a change requires new authorization under applicable law, Aloola will request such authorization when required.
